Guidelines

Handicaps

The Irvine Golf Club is considered to be a very challenging course and to enjoy the game to the fullest, players should be reasonably competent golfers. Handicap certificates should be available to be produced, if requested.

Speed of Play

Members of The Irvine Golf Club normally complete a round in less than four hours and visitors are expected to do the same. If you find that you are losing ground on the game in front then you would be expected to invite them to play through.

Etiquette

Please be ready to tee off at your allotted time. Please respect the condition of the course by replacing divots, raking bunkers and properly repairing pitch marks on the greens.

Dress Code

The acceptable form of dress is "smart casual" at all times.

Tailored shorts are acceptable both on the course and in the Clubhouse, but sports shorts are not.

Trainers, denims and collarless shirts are not permitted at any time.

Waterproof garments are not considered acceptable attire for the clubhouse.

Please note that the dress code above is exactly as is applied to Members.

The Club Secretary or PGA professional will be pleased to answer any queries you have prior to booking, or contact us with more details on your enquiry.
