A Course Fit For Champions

The links fairways, built on sand, are divided by gorse and heather. Every hole has its own unique character together with true and fast greens. The course demands accurate shot-making, after all, it has produced three Scottish Amateur Champions in Hammy McInally, Jimmy Walker and Jack Cannon, who all honed their skills at the Irvine Golf Club.

At 6415 yards long, with a par of 71, the course has all the attributes associated with links golf, including tight fairways, whins, blind shots, fast and true greens and well placed bunkers which punish the wayward golfer.
